Very impressive list. I've been wondering about reading Peter V. Brett and I still need to read Zelazny too.

I doubt the Commies would leave much room for MC'ing either.

David, I really enjoyed the first of Peter V. Brett's novels. But the second I didn't particularly care for, it was twice as long and spend an inordinate amount of time on fleshing out a new culture that I wasn't particularly interested in when it was briefly visited in the first book. I'm up in the air as to if I will read his 3rd when it comes out.

Zelazny, I really recommend the first 5 Amber books.. But I can't really recommend the second 5.. your mileage may vary but I found them to be a really pale imitation of the first series.
